LPBC the setting for Chicago Tonight segment

WTTW’s Chicago Tonight did a feature story about Montana Butsch and the kids who row with his organization, The Chicago Training Center.

LPBC has played host to The Chicago Training Center (CTC) for the past two seasons while they await the completion of their rowing facility and much of the footage for this story was filmed at the Lincoln Park Boat Club boathouse.

Montana and his kids have been regulars at the boathouse since 2007. LPBC has provided CTC with access to our fleet of sculling equipment as well as our ergs, coach launch etc., and we’ve made room along side the boathouse to store their big yellow 8’s.

The CTC program is one LPBC is proud to be a part of. And this story really highlights how the program has helped these kids - both on the water and off.
