In addition to the monthly off-site trips for our members, we're trying out something new this season... Show-N-Go group paddles.
The Show-N-Go is an easy way for our members to easily meet and paddle in a group. We hope to schedule one a week and will try to announce the date and time a couple days prior to the Show-N-Go.
Our first scheduled Show-N-Go was stymied by a thunderstorm but our subsequent outing on Wed, July 23rd was great.
Nine of us paddled in perfect, 75 degree air, and big rolling water. For me, it was one of the top 10 kayaking outings of the season. Perfect waves, perfect weather, few stinky loud jetskis and a good group. The sunset we watched as we paddled into the harbor was the cherry on top.
